Iconica Suspension

Iconica lamps are one of the outstanding collections of Penta Light (Italy) - a famous brand of lighting designs that combine sophisticated craftsmanship and contemporary design thinking.
The design uses satin-finished metal with soft curves, creating an elegant, minimalist but luxurious look. The satin finish helps the light not to reflect harshly but to diffuse gently, with softness, creating the feeling of "light sliding on the surface". When the observer moves, the eyes catch the changing light - dark areas → the feeling of the light bulb or light streak moving along. This is an intentional optical effect, often called "dynamic perception of light" - meaning the light has a dynamic feeling, making the object more soulful.
The Iconica collection was designed by Umberto Asnago - a famous Italian designer, born in 1949 in Barlassina, Milan. Asnago once said in an interview: “Light should not stand still; it should talk to the space and the observer.”
