Lighting Design

We do not provide lighting design services, but in order to supply to our customer a perfect solution with our “ HOSPITAL” concept, we invite professional lighting designers to design projects satisfied our customer’s inquiry.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Designer will provide Professional Lighting Design Service according to the following sequence:
1. Phase One - Design Concept Stage
1.1  To study and interpret the Architectural and Interior Design Concept in view to prepare and integrate the lighting.
1.2  To develop, in coordination with Client, Architect, M&E Engineer and Interior Designer, a suitable Lighting Concept and applicable Lighting Standards.
1.3  To prepare presentation material to convey the Design Scheme
1.4  To present the Lighting Concept to the Client for approval.
2.  Phase Two – Design & Development Stage
2.2  To develop the concept into Details, Technical Specifications and relevant Layout Drawings.
2.3  To prepare Lighting Control Schedules which shows grouping (looping) of Lighting Points and the proposed way of control.
2.4  To prepare an Electrical Loading Schedule, which in combination with the above, will serve as input to the M&E Consultant.
2.5  To prepare necessary Computer Lighting Calculations to support the Lighting Design Performance Specifications if necessary.
2.6  To prepare Final Lighting Layout Drawings, based on AutoCAD format, as provided by the Architect and Interior Designer, showing Lighting                  Point Layout, Setting Out and Lighting Control Circuits.
2.7  Interior Designer shall be responsible for the selection of decorative fixture as part of separate lighting budget. Designer will be responsible for the lamp, wattage and control requirement.
2.8  After review and approval by Interior Designer, Architect and relevant consultants, the design document will be forward to owner approval.
3. Phase Three – Documentation & Specification
3.1  To prepare Final Luminaire selection into Cut-sheets for Tender Documentation after received the approval of Phase-2.
3.2  Coordinate lighting design with relevant consultants, to confirm all details have been integrated within building construction.
3.3  To prepare Budget Estimate of the Lighting for approval by the Client and subsequently modified the Lighting Design if required, to suit the agreed budget.
3.4  To prepare Final Technical Specifications for Tender Documentation.
3.5  To assist in tender evaluation and award of the Lighting Tender.
3.6  To provide assistance and support during Contract Administration (Tender Phase).
4.  Phase Four - Implementation, Testing & Commissioning
4.1  Administration of the contract and periodic Site Inspection.
4.2  Attend to queries and resolved problems related to lighting.
4.3  Preparation and Issuance Construction Drawings related to lighting.
4.4  Shop Drawing Review and Approval. Quality Assurance Inspection, and Review of Lighting Sample.
4.5  Review, check and comment on alternative light fitting proposal by contractor, such as samples, control equipment and shop drawings for compliance with the design intent and recognized code and standards.
4.6  Project Evaluation Report and Administration of Warranties.
4.7  To assist contractor in scene setting and adjusting of lighting level accordance to the theme.
4.8  To assist contractor in carry out the Final Aiming, Testing & Commissioning to ensure the intended visual result is achieved.
4.9  To prepare defect list of the contractor installation works upon handover to the client.
